The role is available for Sofia, Plovidv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse.

The SAP Basis Engineer is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the SAP landscape, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of SAP systems. This role involves installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting SAP Basis components to support the organization's business processes. The position demands a deep understanding of SAP Basis administration, system architecture, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and components, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and Solution Manager.
  • Manage SAP system landscapes, including client copies, system refreshes, and transports.
  • Perform SAP kernel upgrades, patching, and system upgrades.
  • Monitor, analyze and optimize SAP system performance
  • Implement, maintain and ensure compliance of SAP security measures, including user administration, role management, and authorization concepts.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP Basis-related issues, addressing and resolving incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of issues and resolutions.
  • Integrate SAP systems with other enterprise applications and third-party tools.
  • Manage and monitor interfaces, including RFC, ALE, IDoc, and Web Services.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems

Technology Stack Used & Required Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Proficiency in SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
  • Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, database management (e.g., Oracle, HANA, SQL Server), and operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows).
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP HANA, and S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of SAP security concepts, including user administration, role management, and authorization.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning.
