Summary: As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work using Oracle Database Administration and PostgreSQL. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement database solutions that meet business requirements. - Perform database maintenance activities, including database refreshes, patching, and upgrades. - Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, data dictionaries, and database schema diagrams. - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance problems, database connectivity issues, and data integrity issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL. - Experience in database design, installation, configuration, and maintenance. - Experience in performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. - Experience in database refreshes, patching, and upgrades. - Experience in developing and maintaining database documentation. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Gurugram office.btech
