The work
At Industry X (IX) we work in the world of Research & Development, Product Design & Engineering, Connected Devices, Manufacturing & Operations or Smart Services. As an intern at Industry X, you will become a consultant and will join the IX intern team.
The team
In general, IX is a diverse and dynamic team of innovators, visionaries, and problem solvers in the fields of Engineering and Manufacturing.
You will either join PES - Product Engineering and Servicing which focuses on the next-generation R&D and imagining and reinventing the future of Products and the end-to-end Product journey from the initial design, to managing Product Lifecycle Systems, their Sustainable Footprint and the ultimate retiring and replacement.
Or you will join M&O - Manufacturing and Operations which focuses on digital Manufacturing, Intelligent Asset Management and any other innovations you can find on the factory floor to provide a digital transformation at the core of Manufacturing.

We mainly offer graduation internships for BSc and MSc educations with a technical background with a minimal duration of 3 months. Our engineers apply their experience to real world problems. What will be your role:
You will:
Collaborate with a team of skilled software engineers to develop software for the increasingly complex semiconductor technology industry.
Work in Agile / SAFe environment to develop software using C, C++, and Python.
Create modular, scalable, and robust architectures and designs that meet customer requirements.
Perform unit and on-target testing to ensure software meets high-quality standards.
Additionally, you will engage in continuous process improvement activities to enhance the efficiency and quality of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll need:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, System Engineering, or equivalent.
Or you have 1 to 2 years of C, C++ experience and would like to work in state of art Technology
Knowledge of or willingness to learn C, C++
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, have a pro-active attitude.
Interest in or willingness to learn software engineering practices and software development tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
Good level of spoken and written English
