THE WORK:
  • You’ll arrange and conduct field meetings to review and define work on Civil/Struct/Geotech led projects. Prepare reference materials required for job walks, meeting minutes and send to attendees and other stakeholders.
  • You’ll recommend updates to Client's specifications, standards, and guidelines, if and as encountered. Recommendations shall be made to the Client discipline leader.
  • You’ll utilize Client systems, such as TETRIS for assigned projects (e.g., civil transmission, structural and geotechnical projects), to receive requests for engineering design service and updates project status within these systems.
  • You’ll update project tracking systems such as excel spreadsheets as directed by the specific groups engineering manager.
  • You’ll review/recommend and process project design specifications through DocuSign when required.
  • You’ll manage development and completion of projects Bill of Materials (B/M).
  • You’ll request Waste Characterization Investigation from Client's Environmental groups and SPCC evaluations from Client's Environmental group for bank replacement project.
  • You’ll oversee local jurisdictional permitting requirements for projects as needed (e.g. grading, fence/perimeter wall, building and safety permits, etc.) .
  • You’ll review additional Prime submittals (drawings, calculations, assessments, Bill of Materials, transmittal, etc.).
  • You’ll review and approve as required, eMEL order forms for long lead items and shop details.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

$140,000 - $180,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • State of California professional engineering (Civil) license


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Thorough knowledge of land development design practices including grading, drainage, paving, hydrology, hydraulics, erosion control, walls, retaining walls, fences, etc.
  • Experience with obtaining non-discretionary permits from agencies within Client's territory
  • Thorough knowledge of structural engineering design practices including design of foundations, cast-in-place footings, driven piles, concrete trenches, steel structures, supports, buildings, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of current applicable industry and Client's regulatory codes and standards (e.g., CBC, IEEE 693, IBC, ASCE 7, ASCE 113, ASCE 41, ACI 318 etc.)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software, Risa 3D, Enercalc, and similar structural software programs
  • Experienced with the geologic conditions found in Client's territory and thorough knowledge of geotechnical engineering practices such as geologic assessments, field investigations, laboratory testing, and report recommendations
