Job Description
The Material Planner at Accenture will play a critical role in replenishment planning and inventory balancing across the value chain. This position focuses on optimizing inventory, building client trust, and managing client expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain operations, particularly in a parts-production environment, and will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Operational Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless operations delivery.
Meet daily KPIs and SLAs without any misses.
Act as a team player, involving team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Provide necessary inputs to leads for workload allocation within the team.
Understand team dynamics and respond effectively to maintain a positive work environment.
People Management Responsibilities
Foster collaboration and teamwork to achieve operational goals.
Assist leads in workload distribution and team engagement.
Monitor team morale and take proactive steps to address concerns.
Supply Chain Responsibilities
Deliver various supply chain initiatives, focusing on delivery assurance, exception management, and inventory management.
Manage material requirements, generate purchase orders, and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and distributors to ensure smooth operations.
Address inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
Independently address risks and queries while working closely with clients.
Generate client-required reports at agreed frequencies.
Align business requirements with systems and process solutions to meet supply chain goals.
Conduct root cause analysis, "what-if" analysis, and provide insights in areas such as PO placements, on-time delivery, inventory planning, and exception management.

Requirements
Functional Skills:
Proven ability to deliver supply chain initiatives, including delivery assurance, exception management, and inventory management.
Experience in managing material requirements, generating purchase orders, and overseeing supply and delivery processes.
Strong ability to liaise with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
Expertise in addressing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
Capability to independently address risks and queries while working closely with clients.
Proficiency in generating client-required reports and aligning business requirements with systems and processes.
Experience in conducting root cause analysis and "what-if" analysis in supply chain contexts.
Technical Skills:
Demonstrated competency in evaluating operational performance, developing actionable strategies, and managing change in a supply chain context.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
2–4 years of planning/scheduling experience in a parts-production environment.
Aptitudes:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities.
Language and education requirement:
Proficiency in English
A completed bachelor’s degree is required. Internships in supply chain roles or a thesis related to supply chain topics are considered a bonus.
