Accenture seeks an attorney with at least 7 years of broad IP experience to join our global IP group as IP counsel. You will be a trusted advisor by providing business practical IP advice across a variety of IP topics, including patents, trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks. You will also be a valuable partner by helping to develop and implement IP strategic initiatives, policies, best practices, and training.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our business groups to gain a deep understanding of key assets and strategic growth areas and develop IP strategies to protect the assets and maximize business outcomes.
- Manage and continuously evolve our patenting efforts by working with business leads and developers; identifying strategic focus areas; evaluating the patentability of inventions; and supporting patent harvesting, patent prosecution and IP operations.
- Advise and support on copyright, trademark, patent, trade secrets, intercompany IP and other IP matters across our enterprise.
- Advise and support internal stakeholders (such as business clients, corporate colleagues, and other legal colleagues) on IP issues across various industries and geographies.
- Manage and resolve complex IP issues in client, partner, joint development, and other business transactions, and collaborate closely with legal colleagues and business teams to resolve those issues.
- Develop and implement IP strategic initiatives, policies, best practices, and training.
- Support other IP projects as needed to continuously transform our IP practice to address emerging technology and evolving IP laws.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
- JD degree or equivalent degree or legal qualification.
- Admitted to the bar (or local equivalent) and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting.

Education: JD and admission in good standing with applicable bar association(s) (or their local equivalents)
