The Work:
The Sales Excellence - Center of Excellence Application Architecture team provides functional architecture support for our sales and pricing tools, ensuring their stability, alignment, and performance.
As a member of the Application Architecture team, you will be part of the Center of Excellence (CoE). You will help design, prioritize and deliver sales and pricing applications that enable more than 50,000 users across Accenture. You’ll ensure that our tools continue to address evolving business needs for continued sales success. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, process orientation, and communication skills.
You will:
- Be a functional architect supporting Accenture’s sales and pricing tools
- Understand requirements and provide input to the design of process and tool changes.
- Build and test application updates.
- Apply your knowledge of the software development life cycle to help execute a project from start to finish.
- Respond promptly to critical events and follow through to ensure they are resolved (incident management).
- Manage user access to tools (security provisioning).
Understand how the Application Architecture team supports the delivery of Sales Excellence service offerings.
Here’s what you need:
- Undergraduate degree
- Typically have a minimum 4-5+ years of relevant experience
- English language fluency (oral and written)
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with formulas and data manipulation
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, able to follow the established procedures and protocols
- Independent and team-oriented, able to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Basic knowledge of sales and pricing data and tools and how they are used in the business
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, able to interact with various stakeholders and teams
- Ability to understand the high-level requirements and expectations of the different teams and applications
- Confident in engaging with senior leadership within the scope of responsibility
- Responsible for an area of medium size and complexity
- Must be flexible with work hours according to business needs (e.g., when interaction/conference calls with team members in other time zones is required, release cutover weekends, when a critical issue requires immediate resolution).
Extra credit if you have:
- Business Management education desirable
- Experience with Salesforce
- Understanding of sales processes and tools (e.g., Manage mySales) preferred
