The Market Research Senior Analyst is a hybrid profile that focuses on closing external information gaps and informing about brand impact. Has a strong marketing background and a solid foundation in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, a passion for uncovering actionable insights, and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a blend of marketing knowledge, research expertise, and the ability to translate data into strategic marketing insights. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and the ability to create actionable strategies that drive business growth. Additionally, these professionals support all marketing pillars of the organization and use research findings to inform, support execution and optimize marketing strategies, including targeting, positioning, and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Comprehensive Research: Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative research studies, including blind testing, A/B testing, and utilizing methodologies from major agencies.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze complex datasets using statistical tools like SPSS, Python, or SQL. Identify trends and insights that lead to actionable strategies and decision-making.
Insight Application: Go beyond the numbers—develop strategic recommendations based on research findings and help integrate these insights into real-world applications.
Project Management: Lead research projects from conception to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing resources effectively.
Marketing Strategy Development: Use research findings to inform and shape marketing strategies, including targeting, positioning, and messaging.
Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, present findings, and provide tailored solutions that meet their business objectives.
Communication: Deliver clear and compelling presentations of research findings, ensuring that complex data is understandable and actionable for stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Address research challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring that projects move forward without delays.
Required Experience:
3+ years of experience in marketing, including strategy development, campaign management, and consumer analysis.
English level: C1/B2+
Experience in B2B or B2C domains (strategy or execution).
A diverse background across various industries, with a preference for those with experience in FMCG and other dynamic sectors. Experience working with Energy: oil and gas clients is preferred.
Experience in crafting marketing strategies at a local/regional level.
Experience interacting and collaborating with sales/commercial teams is needed and will be assessed.
Experience working with clients in United States is preferred.
Experience crafting medium-complexity marketing plans and/or programs.
Experience working with creative agencies.
Digitally fluent, with knowledge of digital marketing best practices.
Experience pitching proposals to clients.
Able to craft verbal and written tactical recommendations and guidance for marketing professionals.
Experience working with project management and CRM software.
Experience in a worldwide marketing program and/or working with high-end agencies.
Curiosity and Creativity: A natural curiosity about consumer behavior and a creative approach to designing research and marketing strategies.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing client needs, market conditions, and marketing trends.
Good time management and prioritization skills
