Key responsibilities of the role:
- Should be able to engage with client leadership, delivery team leads and other stakeholders across different geographies.
- Strong Utilities consulting experience to drive solution of the project and bring strong customer engagement expertise to the table.
- Should possess hands-on functional expertise on multiple areas of electric, gas or water utility in Billing, Rates Configurations, Payments, Credit & collection, Meter Data acquisition, etc.
- Should be able to understand business requirements, provide solution on different business processes, recommend innovative future solutions which will provide business benefits by increasing the efficiency and reducing the cost.
- Should be able to lead workshops, demos, and ability to not only document business process but also should be able to recommend new methods and automation opportunities for efficient business operation.
- Should understand de-regulated and regulated market environment and related tariff scenarios, meter to cash process, market EDI transaction lifecycle etc.
- Should involve in assignments in large programs, help in defining business and technological solutions which help customer design and implement new business processes and organization capabilities.
- Experience in delivering end-to-end Transformation Projects in Utilities sector.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder
- Level: Consultant | Years of Exp: 3 to 6 years post MBA or 8 years without MBA
- Level: Manager | Years of Exp: 7 to 10 years post MBA or 10 years without MBA
- 5-7 years in relevant-to-Utilities-Functional role with experience in end-to-end implementations.
- Should have experience in managing and leading a team, preparing project progress reports, track project progress, organizing sprits, able to do Program Increment Planning and create project plans.
- Strong understanding of Utilities value chain. Utilities retail and customer services process & domain expertise.
- Experience in regulated/de-regulated market environment (global utilities) and hands-on experience with Oracle CCB OR SAP ISU solutions, including the ability to support solution frameworks and solution process landscapes and define integration touchpoints
- Experience in identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to understand complex business requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with diverse teams and present solutions clearly.
- Project management skills to manage timelines, resources, and project deliverables effectively.
- A continuous learning mindset to stay updated Utilities Application Framework updates, new technologies, and industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and lead global distributed teams
Would be advantageous, not mandatory:
- In-depth Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), Database structure and technical knowledge is a plus.
- IS Utilities, SAP ISU Certification (Billing, Device Management and FICA) OR Oracle Utilities Certifications in suite would be an advantage / good-to-have
- PMP or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certificate would be an advantage.
