We are looking for a seasoned Lead SAP Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Service Management (SM) and SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) to lead project delivery, engage with clients, and work hands-on in solution implementation. This role demands strong functional skills, leadership capability, and the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities: Act as the functional lead for SAP SM and PM modules across implementation, rollout, and support projects. Work closely with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. Lead workshops, solution design, and configuration activities for both Service Management and Plant Maintenance processes. Design and configure key processes such as: Service Orders, Service Contracts, Warranties, Notifications (SAP SM) Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Maintenance Plans, Work Orders (SAP PM) Ensure seamless integration between SM, PM, and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FICO. Support development teams by preparing functional specifications and testing deliverables. Provide hands-on support for issue resolution and change management in the production environment. Guide and mentor junior team members and ensure quality delivery across the board. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting solution options and driving decision-making. Lead status calls, prepare client-facing documentation, and act as a primary point of contact for key stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of SAP functional experience with strong expertise in both SAP Service Management (SM) and Plant Maintenance (PM). Proven experience in leading end-to-end implementations and rollout projects. Strong business process knowledge in service execution, resource-related billing, maintenance scheduling, and equipment management. Good understanding of technical objects, task lists, maintenance plans, and notifications. Hands-on experience with SAP configuration and functional design. Strong experience in client-facing roles including workshops, solution demos, and stakeholder presentations. Exposure to S/4HANA (greenfield/brownfield/migration projects) is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: SAP Certification in SM, PM, or S/4HANA. Experience with SAP Fiori applications related to SM/PM processes. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira. Experience in manufacturing, utilities, or industrial services domains is a plus.15 years full time education
