Deploys the automation pipeline and automates environment creation and configuration.Summary: The candidate will lead the uplift and modernization of engineering capabilities related to the automation of development, testing, and production delivery for Client’s platforms. They will provide hands-on guidance as well as strategic thought leadership in designing and executing this strategy with a combination of internal and external teams over the next two years. The candidate must be adept at educating and influencing global application development teams to adopt new tools and practices, demonstrating measurable improvements in productivity, time to market, and operational resiliency. This role requires a business-minded, highly collaborative, team-focused experienced DevOps engineer with exceptional communication skills to work with developers and testers on DevOps principles. Roles & Responsibilities: • Support continuous improvement of self-service spend analytics by presenting data with meaningful metrics, patterns, and forecasts. Professional & Technical Skills: • Demonstrated experience leading and executing transformation programs that significantly uplift DevOps and SDLC automation capabilities. • Proven ability to deliver measurable process and productivity improvements through DevOps investments and drive a metrics-driven practice of continuous improvement. • Strong familiarity with modern DevOps and SRE principles. • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud platform and services. • Proficiency in at least one of the following scripting languages: Python, GO, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy. • Experience with automation tooling such as GitLab CI and Jenkins. • Expertise in package management using Sonatype Nexus. • Knowledge and practical experience in containerizing application components, including writing DockerFiles and deploying to Kubernetes. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc. • Understanding of observability concepts and tooling like Opensearch, Cribl, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch. • Familiarity with third-party automation tools and technologies, including their relative pros and cons across all stages of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and observability. • Prior experience working in development teams using Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe) and practicing Lean Delivery principles. • Platforms: Windows Server, Amazon Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu. • Programming language proficiency in at least one of Java, C# (.NET Framework/Core), JavaScript (Node.js), Ruby, or C++. • Previous experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines (unit, integration, smoke testing). Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science. • Over 7-10 years of experience in practicing and leading DevOps initiatives.
