Brief Profile:

We are looking for a SAP FI-CO Consultant who can bring finance knowledge, process expertise, world class capabilities to our clients to deliver business value. You will work with leading global clients to develop and execute solutioning, system design, blueprinting, proof of concepts, data modeling, etc. of Finance technology solutions in SAP. Based on project needs, your work may require extensive travel (international/within India) to client sites for project work.

Reporting to: S&C GN CFO & EV – Platforms Manager

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Implementation of FICO module in global clients.

• Opportunity to be involved in implementation of IS-Retail, IS-Utility, etc.

• Conduct workshop to gather user requirement

• Perform configuration that covers the following areas:

• General Ledger – Define Chart of Accounts, define account group, standard hierarchy, profit center, define document types,

• AR/AP – Define screen layout, number ranges, reconciliation accounts, payments, account groups, dunning, document types and posting key

• Asset Accounting – Asset number ranges, Asset classes, depreciation areas, depreciation key

• Design functional specification based on user requirement

• Prepare training material and data sheet, support end user training

• Perform functional unit test, system integration test, and support user acceptance test (UAT)

• Design custom program for data validation and extraction

• Prepare data object templates and design data conversion tool (LSMW/ custom program) for data migration

• Work on data migration from legacy system to SAP systems

• Perform data conversion for objects – Profit center, cost center, standard hierarchy, customer master, GL accounts, and transaction data

• Create FI-CO Master data

• Cost center, Joint Venture, Joint Operating Agreement, Customers, Vendors, and Assets

• Develop test plans, test strategy, test scope and defining test cases

• Carry out unit test, functional test, interface test, user acceptance test and integration test

• Area of coverage:

• AP – Process FI Invoices/ LIV Invoices, down payment request, clearing vendor account

• AR – Manage customer statement, credit notes, and customer account statement

• Asset Management – Perform settlement to fixed assets, depreciation posting, asset write off/ transfer, perform asset year end process, OPEX plan direct costs, plan activity consumption, and activity prices OPEX & CAPEX WBS Settlement

• JVA

• Provide go-live and post-go-live support

Job Qualifications:

• Process exposure in Finance, Operating Model, particularly in a Shared Services Operations model

• Finance business process knowledge related to Organization Structure, Master Data, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Taxation, Costing, Treasury, etc.

• Experience in SAP Reporting capabilities in BI/BO, BW, SAC, etc.

• Understanding of SAP and Allied Systems’ Reporting and Customization capabilities.

• Understanding of Fiori and Dashboard development capabilities in SAP Core ERP and Allied Systems.

• Strong requirement gathering skills (such as AS-IS, TO-BE, Gaps), business process understanding, RICEF objects etc.

• Deep knowledge and experience in SAP System Integration projects, namely, SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance modules / applications.

• Strong MS office skills. Should be well versed with preparing workshop materials, process flow diagrams & excel skills (Vlook up, Pivot etc.).

• Drawing on extensive knowledge and experience across SAP System Integration projects to be able to deliver projects on design and implementation.

• Supervision of Accenture analysts and consultants and client personnel in limited capacity.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
