Manage day-to-day relationship with vendor tax teams to ensure efficient handling of all tax-related activities in US/Puerto Rico/Canada for high volume of payroll tax accounts
Develop and implement a plan to consolidate tax-related activities for remote teams specific to employee/employer obligations supporting US/Puerto Rico/Canada
Partner with key team members in support of process standards ensuring employee demographic data is properly reflected in per pay tax calculations
Maintain general understanding of data flow through complex systems partnering with technical teams as needed
Assess roles and responsibilities for existing team with emphasis on continuous education to ensure high level of employee engagement
Manage employment tax audits from both internal and external sources
Oversee acquisition activities related to all aspects of payroll tax with vendor and internal stakeholders
Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state and local agencies working closely with internal/external teams to successfully maintain periodic tax upgrades
Supervise periodic, quarterly and annual payroll tax reconciliation process in support of timely and accurate payroll tax reporting
Direct quarter end/year end activities ensuring highest quality of accuracy for tax filings, W2/T4/Rev1 production
Ensure timely set-up of any new jurisdiction accounts
Manage high volume filing of tax reports (periodic, monthly, quarterly, annually) and those not supported by tax service provider
Maintain working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continuity of downstream payroll tax data
Review and update existing internal process documents as needed and oversee creation of new process documents where applicable
Ensure all internal controls remain compliant and provide recommendations for new controls as business needs change
Partner on special tax handling related to RSU, ESPP, Global Mobility and other taxable benefits with internal team members
Maintain strong relationship with payroll configuration team to ensure accurate code setup resulting in desired payroll calculations
Review and approve payroll tax related system upgrades including but not limited to building test case scenarios, validation of test results etc.
Participate in team training development as needed
Job Requirements:
Experience in complex, high volume, large client environments executing full end-to-end payroll process
Experience in Dayforce payroll process
Proficient with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word
Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent math skills
Well-organized, able to prioritize work, and works well under pressure
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience with Dayforce payroll process
Minimum of 7 years' payroll/tax experience (30,000 employees or more)
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing people
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Payroll Professional - CPP (US), Payroll Compliance Practitioner - PCP (Canada)
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
Progressive technology skills - ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
Customer service mindset
Excellent attention to detail
Display good ownership over all tasks
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Critical thinker and problem -solver; ability to work creatively and analytically in a fast-paced business environment
Continuous learner/improvement mindset with a desire to grow and take on additional challenges

Proficient with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
