In Technology Strategy you will:
Serve as trusted advisor to the C-suite supporting the strategy at the intersection of both technology and business
Articulate a compelling technology vision with industry and functional expertise
Support in the shaping of technology in business strategies to capture market share
Identify and prioritize value creation opportunities based on detailed assessment and analysis of current technology footprint
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into technology trends, IT architecture, etc.
Drive strategic opportunities which incorporate innovative technology solutions into broader business transformations
Develop operating models and business cases leveraging modern technologies and ways of working
Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present innovative insight, knowledge, guidance, and recommendations on a specific market-relevant technology strategy
Ensure clients are positioned for long-term success with practical road maps for carrying out Digital, IT or Cloud strategy, managing change, monitoring and gauging processes, and taking remedial steps
As a Consultant you will:
Manage workstreams, small teams and own deliverables
Establish strong working relationships with primary client contacts early in the project, beginning to be viewed as a trusted advisor to the client
Lead client meetings and drive to insight, decisions, and actions, balancing understanding client needs / desires with presenting an informed and convincing perspective; able to clearly describe analysis performed, methodology, and implications for client's business
Be able to define technology transformation, strategies, and capabilities including north star and target blueprints (at business functional level)
Support thought leadership, asset development, and intellectual capital efforts with support from more senior colleagues.
Lead client meetings and drive to insight, decisions, and actions, balancing understanding client needs and desires with presenting an informed and convincing perspective; able to clearly describe analysis performed, methodology, and implications for client's business
Develop self and mentor peers and analysts
Support a strategy project in shaping the role of technology to impact business value across growth and cost through ownership of a deliverable driving executive storytelling and / or financial analysis
Form hypotheses and create a robust fact base for analysis
Develop broad knowledge base along with focus on one or more targeted focus areas across technology strategy, functional, technical, and industry areas
Proactively seek out and use frameworks, adapting them to client situations
Clearly communicate ideas, solutions, and business impacts, with information presented in a compelling and organized way
Support Business Development, building understanding of how to architect and position proposals and SOWs
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm
Minimum 3 years of experience in at least one of the following: digital strategy, transformation strategy, operating model strategy, technology in M&A, technology cost optimization, or technology driven revenue growth strategy
Minimum 3 years of experience writing business cases
Minimum 3 years of experience in planning / structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing (technology) strategy recommendations
Critical thinking, ability to question decisions and provide creative solutions
Knowledgeable in developing practical roadmaps that support the enabling of technology transformation
Curiosity about technology and its influences on business and work
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Top-notch communication (written and oral) people skills
Strong presentation skills: including the ability to synthesize information and bring a message forward
Minimum A Bachelor’s degree
Bonus Points if:
You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
Intermediate proficiency in Technology Architecture Blueprint, Operating model assessment & Roadmap Definition
Professional certification in relevant related skills
