The Work
As a Senior Principal in our Energy Industry Strategy & Consulting practice, you will serve as a Thought Leader and Expert (TLE) in Midstream and LNG, driving value for clients across the energy ecosystem. You will guide global LNG and midstream clients through transformation programs centered on asset optimization, energy transition, digital enablement, and operating model redesign. You’ll shape the go-to-market strategy for Midstream/LNG offerings and act as a trusted advisor to senior executives navigating volatility, decarbonization, and infrastructure evolution.

Working closely with internal account teams and ecosystem partners, you will originate and co-create complex, tech-enabled strategies that unlock sustainable growth. You’ll also lead large-scale consulting programs from vision through execution, overseeing teams of high-performing consultants and SMEs while fostering innovation and building Accenture’s brand in the LNG/Midstream sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and shape Accenture’s Midstream and LNG strategy offerings; lead thought leadership, IP development, and client value propositions aligned to global energy transition priorities.

  • Serve as the senior client-facing leader on high-impact consulting engagements focused on asset infrastructure, supply chain resiliency, digital capabilities, carbon reduction, and decarbonization pathways in LNG.

  • Drive pipeline development and lead proposal efforts, working in close collaboration with industry account leadership, innovation hubs, and global delivery teams.

  • Cultivate senior client relationships (SVP, EVP, C-suite), driving influence across commercial, operational, and technology decision-makers.

  • Mentor and develop the next generation of consulting talent in the energy practice, fostering a culture of thought leadership, continuous learning, and delivery excellence.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Energy industry, with a deep focus on Midstream and LNG including commercial operations, capital projects, digital strategy, and decarbonization.

  • Demonstrated experience advising or working with C-suite or executive leadership at energy companies on strategic, operational, or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end consulting engagements or internal strategy teams with tangible client or business outcomes.

  • Prior experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a matrix or client-facing environment.

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Engineering, Energy, or related field) preferred.

Bonus Points:

  • Background in consulting, strategic planning, corporate development, or energy operations.

  • Understanding of digital platforms and emerging technologies relevant to the midstream sector (e.g., digital twins, asset performance management, AI/ML applications, emissions tracking).

  • Familiarity with global LNG markets, trading dynamics, or terminal development/operations.

  • Experience in originating or closing large strategic engagements, with revenue accountability.

  • Willingness to travel as needed based on client and project requirements.
