What would you do?

  • We are seeking a detail oriented and strategic Vendor Management Analyst to oversee and enhance relationships with professional services vendors supporting our Data Center initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring vendor performance aligns with contractual obligations, industry standards, and project goals

  • Manage vendor relationships for professional services contracts supporting Clients Data Center projects

  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance metrics based on vendor Statements of Work SOWs

  • Collaborate with Client Vendor Managers to track and follow up on their action items

  • Create and manage internal and external quarterly newsletters to communicate updates, performance highlights, and innovations

  • Deliver training sessions to client and vendor stakeholders on vendor development and performance management.

  • Work closely with the data team to maintain performance dashboards and an informative vendor facing webpage.

  • Create detailed quarterly vendor facing reports to help vendors identify areas for improvement and align with performance expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships for professional services contracts supporting Clients Data Center projects.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance metrics based on vendor Statements of Work (SOWs).

  • Collaborate with Client Vendor Managers to track and follow up on their action items.

  • Create and manage internal and external quarterly newsletters to communicate updates, performance highlights, and innovations.

  • Deliver training sessions to client and vendor stakeholders on vendor development and performance management.

  • Work closely with the data team to maintain performance dashboards and an informative vendor-facing webpage.

  • Create detailed quarterly vendor-facing reports to help vendors identify areas for improvement and align with performance expectations.

  • Conduct regular internal performance reviews for vendors and provide actionable feedback to client vendor managers.

  • Design and distribute vendor feedback surveys to gather insights and drive improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and best practices.

  • Lead initiatives to evaluate and innovate vendor performance assessment methods.

Skills Required

  • 3 years of experience in Vendor Management

  • Experience working with Vendor or Suppliers qualification and onboarding process

  • Excel Proficiency

  • English C1 (written and speaking)

  • Analytical Skills

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Assertive communication skills

Vendor Development Program (Mandatory):

  • Development and operation of a Supplier Performance Management program, branded as the Vendor Development Program

  • To bring standardization and transparency to post-award supplier evaluations. Currently < 25 Contracts for 15 odd suppliers are in the program.

  • Designing processes, RACI/RASCI matrices, SOPs, Playbook, communication templates required to run the program.

  • Developing standard supplier performance scorecards and dashboards. Scorecards already developed but optimize it as needed.

  • Creating standardized communication via webpages, newsletters, conduct Office Hour calls, etc. Work with Data team for maintaining the webpage and updating HTML scripting.

  • Facilitating quarterly performance reviews sessions for Vendors and managers.

  • Driving stakeholder alignment and change management - adoption of the program by the business stakeholders, making them understand the value the program will bring in the long run, create a good working relationship with all Google Managers.

  • Develop & present weekly reports for client highlighting achievements/ priorities/ support required

  • Support in creating client presentations on ad-hoc basis

  • Ensure adoption of standardized SOW template across PCG.

QuickBase Application Implementation (Bonus & NOT Mandatory):

  • Get in-depth understanding of gVal process

  • Identify gaps in process & determine improvement opportunities

  • Understand basic functioning of QB tool, workflows, admin rights, etc.

  • Create & execute transition plan for moving the process from Buganizer to QB

  • To be able to make changes to the application (fields, structure, user list, UI changes, etc.)

  • Coordinate with QB team and making them understand the technical changes to be made on the app.

  • Align with client on expectation from the tool, timelines, go live, support required, etc.

  • Create SOP/training resource for users for ease of use for the application.

  • Provide office hour support to first time users.
