THE WORK:
- You’ll provide guidance in project management and control by applying fundamental schedule and cost control techniques, implementing best practices, and supporting leadership in cost, schedule, risk, change, contract management, and reporting.
- iYou’ll perform rigorous and independent project assessments within the client’s project portfolio to ensure compliance with the enterprise SGP, project management standards, and implementation guides.
- You’ll conduct training on clients’ SGP, project management standards, and project controls disciplines such as Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).
- You’ll assist in analysis, optimization, and reporting on Entergy’s project portfolio, including risk assessments tied to completing planned scopes within multi-year budget plans.
- You’ll develop and maintain project schedules, plans, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), while identifying, analyzing, and documenting schedule and cost variances between planned and earned/actual progress.
- You’ll support SGP Gate Reviewer analysis by providing data on cost, schedule, progress, risk, and processes.
- You’ll analyze contractor schedule data to identify key project issues, verify progress, review performance trends, and support Project Admin and Accounting in contractor invoice reviews.
- You’ll collaborate with project managers and teams to identify, characterize, and document project risks in a risk register, and develop mitigation plans in accordance with standards.
- You’ll facilitate and manage the Change Management process, tracking and documenting approved changes clearly throughout the project lifecycle.
- You’ll create project portfolio performance metrics and reports, with work performed in both office settings and field conditions.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships

$75,000 - $113,214 a year
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management (or related field) OR 6 years equivalent/related work experience (in addition to the Minimum Experience requirement) in leu of a degree
- 4 years minimum capital project management and/or project control experience with project controls focus. Utility capital project experience essential
- New Gas Power Plant project controls experience with a utility or contractor
- PCS I: 1-2 yrs. experience
- PCS II: 3+ yrs. Experience
- Sr. PCS: 4+ yrs experience
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- 5 years of experience in capital project management and/or project controls
- Project controls experience on large scale capital projects
- Experience of project controls implemented on projects executed under various types of contract agreements including EPC. Both contractor and owner construction project controls experience
- Certifications from PMI and/or AACEi
- Ability to create project and portfolio performance metrics using standardized project dashboards and reports
- Experience with schedule software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, Acumen Fuse, Risk Analysis
- Experience working on construction site, engineering office, fabrication sites, etc. to support project teams
- Experience working with EPC Contracts
