Full Stack Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Columbus, OH): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Full Stack Engineering Manager in Columbus, OH, and the job duties are as follows:
- Recruit, hire and manage a team of full stack developers and project personnel across multiple levels to plan, schedule and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on software enhancements, collaborating with scrum teams, and reviewing business requirements to design and develop new features.
- Assign tasks, set schedules, and oversee the completion of team responsibilities, assignments, and projects.
- Direct and review execution of projects, including overseeing the approval of work products, providing feedback to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Re-design and re-engineer complex system integration solutions.
- Propose, review and approve modifications to project plans.
- Develop or update project plans including information such as objectives, technologies, schedules, funding and staffing in collaboration with senior management.
- Interact with client senior management to report project status, including budget, resources and technical issues.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 5 plus years of experience in each of the following:
- Managing, designing, and developing large scale web-based, mobile application, and system integration solutions;
- Programming experience in Java, Spring Boot framework, Angular, ReactJS, REST, SOAP, Express.js, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, Django, Flask, or Node.js;
- Working on complex SQL in MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL databases;
- Translating business and functional requirements into technical requirements and designs for full stack application development and system integration; and
- Utilizing Agile Delivery Methodologies for project development, including work breakdown, sizing, PI planning, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:
- Working with design principles and structures, including RESTful APIs and microservices;
- Utilizing UI and UX design principles to collaborate with designers and create user-friendly interfaces; and
- Implementing automated deployment and DevOps tools, including Jenkins, CloudBees, Udeploy, version control, web hosting platforms, and GIT.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
