Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the software meets client requirements, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies to support project goals, and overseeing the implementation of software solutions that enhance user experience and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: •Lead the end-to-end architecture and implementation of OTA update systems (FOTA, SOTA, ECU updates). •Collaborate with system architects, cybersecurity teams, and cloud/backend teams to define OTA strategies. •Define OTA workflows, update policies, rollback mechanisms, and version management. •Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO 21434, AUTOSAR). •Manage OTA validation, testing, and deployment pipelines. •Interface with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for OTA backend integration. •Mentor and guide a team of embedded and cloud engineers. •Own the OTA roadmap and ensure timely delivery of milestones. •Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues. •Work closely with cross-functional teams across globe Professional & Technical Skills: Technical Experience: •Overall, 15+ years of experience in Embedded Software domain. •Strong experience in embedded systems, Linux, and RTOS environments. •Deep understanding of OTA protocols, update agents, and bootloaders. •Experience with secure update mechanisms (encryption, signing, rollback). •Familiarity with cloud-based OTA platforms and CI/CD pipelines. •Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, UDS, DoIP). •Hands-on experience with tools like Yocto, Jenkins, Git, and Docker. •Excellent communication and leadership skills. •Excellent problem solving and debugging skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team Additional Information: •Bachelor’s or Master’s in computers, Electronics, or any related stream15 years full time education
