S/4 Embedded Developer – SAP S/4HANA Development-Analyst
Job Summary:
As an S/4 Embedded Developer at Accenture, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing applications, extensions, and reporting within the S/4HANA Embedded environment. You will leverage your expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services to deliver innovative solutions that meet business requirements. This role requires strong collaboration with functional consultants, a focus on quality and performance, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that align with Accenture’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Development and Enhancement:
Develop custom objects using ABAP on HANA, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and OData services within the S/4HANA stack.
Build and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications to meet specific business requirements.
Support the creation of embedded analytics reports and KPI dashboards for key business areas such as Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
2. Testing and Quality Assurance:
Participate in testing cycles, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate the end-to-end functionality of developed solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues, debug programs, and support defect resolution to ensure high-quality deliverables.
3. Collaboration and Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
4. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test scripts, and user guides, to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.
Assist in knowledge transfer to support teams to ensure smooth handover and ongoing maintenance.
5. Compliance and Optimization:
Ensure compliance with development guidelines, performance optimization techniques, and security standards.
Continuously evaluate and improve development practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
1-2 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA development, with a focus on ABAP on HANA and embedded development.
Proficiency in Core Data Services (CDS) Views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and OData services.
Experience in building and enhancing Fiori/UI5 applications to meet business requirements.
Familiarity with embedded analytics, including the development of reports and KPI dashboards for Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
Problem-Solving and Collaboration:
Strong analytical and debugging skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud-based integration is a plus.
SAP certifications in ABAP on HANA or S/4HANA development are highly desirable.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
