THE WORK:
As a Senior Analyst Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and governing SAP security solutions to protect system access, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust security frameworks, manage access controls, and ensure seamless integration of security measures across SAP S/4HANA and other integrated systems. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP security concepts, governance frameworks, and the ability to align security strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP Security Design and Implementation:
- Design and configure role-based access controls (RBAC), authorization concepts, and segregation of duties (SoD) to ensure secure and compliant system access.
- Develop and implement security workflows, user provisioning processes, and access request management across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems.
- Support the design and configuration of SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions, including SoD ruleset definition, risk remediation, and mitigating controls.
2. Security Governance and Compliance:
- Implement and manage monitoring tools, audit trails, and compliance reporting to support internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards by maintaining a secure and compliant SAP environment.
- Collaborate with audit teams to address findings and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
3. Testing and Go-Live Support:
- Lead security testing, cutover, and go-live activities, ensuring secure access setup and seamless transition to production environments.
- Validate security configurations and workflows during testing cycles, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to align security solutions with business requirements and transformation goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing recommendations for security enhancements and process improvements.
5. Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Train and guide business and security teams to sustain secure operations post go-live.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including security design specifications, workflows, and user guides.
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Technical Expertise:
- 4+ years of experience in SAP security design, implementation, and governance.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA security, including role design, user provisioning, and SoD management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control, including ruleset configuration, risk analysis, and mitigation.
- Proficiency in security workflows, audit trails, and compliance reporting.
- Familiarity with security testing methodologies and tools.
Problem-Solving and Collaboration:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve security issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Fiori security and cloud-based SAP solutions is a plus.
- SAP certifications in Security or GRC are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and their impact on SAP security.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
