What would you do? Intelligent Insurance Operations integrates our advisory, technology, and operations capabilities—leveraging our global scale and robust ecosystem—to deliver end-to-end insurance transformation. This approach is purpose-built to handle the complexity of the evolving insurance landscape and is flexible enough to meet the diverse needs of various market segments and business lines including: • Derivatives • Hedge Accounting • RML (Residential Mortgage Loan) • CML (Commercial Mortgage Loan) • Bonds & Equity • OIA (Other Invested assets) • Corporate Reporting • Fortitude Re • NII (Net Investment Income) • Global Real Estate (GRE) • Data Management • GL accounting Roles and Responsibilities: • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting of investments, ensuring accurate and timely entries in the general ledger. • Reconcile investment transactions, including capital calls, distributions, settlements, and accruals. • Maintain investment portfolios across various asset classes such as equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and derivatives. • Assist in the valuation of investments, including pricing validation and ensuring accurate mark-to-market reporting. • Prepare accurate and timely investment reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, including management reports, financial statements, and fund performance metrics. • Support the preparation of financial reports related to performance and compliance requirements. • Collaborate with investment-related departments such as Bonds, CML, RML, OIA, Data Governance, Corporate Reporting, Derivatives, Fortitude RE, GRE, GL accounting, NII as well as Risk Management and Compliance, to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory adherence. • Assist in implementing and adhering to internal controls, ensuring accounting and reporting procedures align with industry best practices. • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, including GAAP and STAT. • Support audit processes by providing required documentation and clear explanations related to investment accounting transactions. • Participate in special projects involving investment accounting, reporting enhancements, and system/process improvements. • Provide analysis and insights as needed by senior management or external stakeholders.
What are we looking for? • Domain Expertise – Investments: In-depth knowledge of the Investments domain, including asset classes, financial instruments, and investment operations. • Numerical Ability: Strong quantitative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial and data analysis. • Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex problems, interpret data, and provide actionable insights to drive business outcomes. • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience in identifying issues, root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions in operational and technical contexts. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally to stakeholders. • Team Collaboration & Client Support: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver exceptional client service, ensuring timely support and resolution of client queries.
