- Role is hybrid with 2-3 days per week at the office near Bank Station, London

The opportunity:
Alpha FMC are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team to support the group’s continued growth and following their recent transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the planning & running the Group’s six-monthly budget and reforecast processes and delivery to the associated Group timetables, working closely with the Divisional management teams
• Maintain and update the models structure so it remains fit for purpose and able to integrate new acquisitions, geographies and divisions
• Maintain and update standard Divisional Budget Packs and submission detail to ensure focus on the consistent targets and KPIs congruent with the Group consolidated view.
• Provide dedicated Divisional support to aid further commercial analysis, supporting the business line with pricing, margins, rate recovery and ad hoc analysis
• Support the development of commercial business cases – engaging with the business line to build solid proposals, while challenging assumptions
• Assist the business line with managing project commercials and risk
• Enhance & develop further KPIs, analysis & metrics
• Create and present insightful and detailed analysis of financial performance with recommendations for change
• Assist with business line key debtor escalation / management
Other Responsibilities:
• M&A assessment, commercial rationale & analysis support
• BP team to support the business line directly with commercial focus
• Deliver Divisional initiatives to meet Budget / Plan
• Present monthly Divisional results to the Divisional Heads and Group FD / CFO
We want to hear from people with:
• Qualified Accountant with commercial business partner experience
• Preferably a 2:1 degree or higher and /or a strong academic background
• Effective communication skills – ability to simplify complicated financial issues and communicate to stakeholders, engage discussion around solutions, and influence decision making
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve business processes, and the confidence and determination to deliver change
• Experience in a commercial environment including some time spent in an analytical or commercial finance role
• A structured and analytical mind-set with a self-starter attitude
• Ability to cope with demanding and fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel and Modelling capabilities
• Excellent organisation skills and rigorous attention to detail
• Business / financial services experience helpful
• Business language fluency in English
