Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our growing Strategy & Deals team in New York. This role is a great fit for someone with experience in consulting, financial services, or related strategic fields who is eager to deepen their expertise in growth strategy, M&A strategy, and a broad range of due diligence engagements, including commercial, technology, and operational DD. Senior Associates play an important part in shaping analyses, guiding workstreams, and developing insights that help clients make better decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of workstreams within strategy and commercial due diligence projects, such as market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer research.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data (market data, financials, interviews, surveys) to develop clear and actionable insights.
- Contribute to hypothesis development and client deliverables through compelling storylines and evidence-based narratives.
- Support, mentor, and collaborate with junior colleagues, helping them grow while ensuring high-quality work.
- Partner with diverse internal teams and engage directly with clients and expert networks to gather market intelligence.
- Contribute to internal initiatives, including knowledge sharing, proposals, and thought leadership.
Qualifications
- ~3 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or other roles involving strategic analysis and M&A.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree/experience is valued but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort in both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to translate complex findings into accessible insights.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic, project-based environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to working inclusively in diverse teams, with experience supporting and developing colleagues.
- Interest in financial services and private equity transactions, as well as corporate strategy (prior exposure a plus).
