Position Overview:
We have a fast-growing team of dedicated consultants with deep experience from working both within the industry and consulting. Successful candidates should expect a diverse range of complex and strategic engagements across the Insurance market. As we continue to expand our client base and expertise, we are looking for individuals to join our team to support our growth journey. Please see below an outline of the responsibilities of the role as well as the requirements.
As an Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Contribute to client projects, supporting project design to delivery.
- Support the creation of high-quality work products within expected timeframes.
- Own key items for project delivery – including possible ownership of deliverables or workstreams within a project.
- Actively participate in the preparation of materials for and delivery of project and client meetings.
- Identify and internally discuss ideas for further business opportunities.
- Track and monitor project plans and milestones, as well as key project issues, risks, actions, and dependencies, and escalating where appropriate.
- Manage competing demands and priorities, from internal and external stakeholders.
- Understand Alpha’s services and actively assess ways to serve clients.
- Stay abreast of General Insurance & Specialty trends relevant to the client's business.
- Contribute to business development, supporting with the development of internal business management areas (e.g. contributions to thought leadership, recruitment or Alpha proposition development)
Requirements:
- A Bachelors’ Degree in a related field, along with Professional experience working in Management Consulting, especially in Finance Services and/or Insurance.
- Experience with projects focused on Target Operating Models, business processes and/or IT solutions in some of the following areas: Sales & Marketing, Distribution, Underwriting and PAS, Claims, Operations, IT, Data, and other insurance transformations are strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills; confident at structuring and articulating messages and adapting communication style for different audiences.
- Experience with relationship development, especially with business development/ account management is a plus.

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the range is $85,000 to $115,000 subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, employees would be eligible for both variable and non-variable benefits.
