Supply Chain Analyst 1 will be based in Locust Grove, GA and will be working with the Cottage Grove, MN team.

SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Analyst 1 is responsible for execution, continuous improvement, and problem solving of supply chain processes to achieve business results for our newest facility located in Locust Grove, Georgia. This position will be required to understand downstream customer requirements to meet business expectations. A portion of the role is procurement driven, with the majority of responsibilities requiring tactical focus and application of fundamental theories, principles, and concepts of supply chain, and lean manufacturing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Optimize plans and schedules in a lean environment, including procurement and coordination of materials to match demands; communicate production requirements and forecasts.
  • Analyze and communicate value stream and/or supply chain capacity and constraints.
  • Takes ownership in performing root cause analysis and driving corrective actions across Supply Chain, utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools, such as ERP, Kanban, spike tools, 5Y, and A3 thinking.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners.
  • Represents supply chain in projects within the value stream (plan, source, make, or deliver).
  • Provides coaching and mentoring of supply chain planners. Receives minimal guidance from others.

· MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain technologies (ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems).
  • Advanced skills and experience with Microsoft Suite, ERP and Reporting systems.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools such as pull systems, PDCA thinking, value stream mapping, process mapping, and Kanban systems.
  • Effectively collaborate and works well with others.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, in detail, and consistently attend to meeting customer requirements.
  • Seeks opportunities to learn from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization.
  • Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous success in ERP implementation.
  • Previous success in a greenfield manufacturing startup
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, high-variety just-in-time manufacturing environment.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
