We're searching for a data-driven and results-oriented Director of Paid Acquisition to lead and scale our paid media efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive paid acquisition strategy across multiple channels, including paid search, paid social, and video advertising, with the goal of driving high-quality leads and customer acquisition. You will have a significant impact on Apollo.io's growth by owning the strategy, execution, and optimization of all paid campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive paid acquisition strategy: Define and implement a data-driven strategy across all paid channels, aligning with Apollo.io's overall business objectives and revenue goals.
- Manage and optimize paid campaigns: Oversee all aspects of paid campaigns, including budget allocation, bidding strategies, audience targeting, ad creative development, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
- Drive channel expansion and experimentation: Explore and test new paid acquisition channels and strategies to identify growth opportunities and maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and creative teams to ensure campaign alignment and effectiveness.
- Oversee reporting and analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), provide regular reports on campaign performance, and extract actionable insights to optimize campaigns and inform future strategies.
- Manage the paid acquisition team: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paid media specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends: Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest paid media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in paid acquisition, with a proven track record of success in managing and scaling paid media campaigns in a B2B SaaS environment. Deep expertise in paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads), paid social (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), and other relevant paid channels.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Experience managing significant paid media budgets and optimizing for ROI. Proficiency in using paid media platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and reporting dashboards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate campaign performance and insights to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of paid media specialists.
