Our subsidiary, Integrated Circuit Testing GmbH (ICT GmbH), with ~160 employees, develops and produces electron microscopes, the heart of our machines, which monitor processes in semiconductor production and classify the smallest defects on wafers. To meet the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the semiconductor industry, our location near Munich, Germany is constantly growing.

To strengthen our engineering team within operations division in our facility near Munich, we are looking for an experienced Process Engineer (m/w/d) for high end cleaning processes, with a strong background in chemistry, physics and thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing cleaning processes (wet chemical/dry) for optical and mechanical components including corresponding cleaning systems and transfer them to series production

  • Responsible for implementing cleaning processes internally and at suppliers with regard to the cleanliness requirements of high-end SEMs

  • Support and further develop already established chemical and physical cleaning processes, as well as continuously identify optimization potential in internal and external cleaning processes

  • Continuously develop the examination of surfaces for organic, molecular and particulate contamination using analytical methods

  • Take responsibility for individual work packages and coordinate them with regard to timing, costs and performance, and report regularly to the project management

  • In the event of a troubleshooting, provide technical support to internal production and systematically correct process deviations externally with cleaning service providers and suppliers

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed degree in chemistry, physics or comparable and/or relevant knowledge in the field of cleaning processes as well as surface analytics (RGA, XPS, AFM)

  • Expert in surface analytics

  • Experience in the field of cleaning procedures (processes and/or process auxiliaries) in the industrial environment

  • Experience in technological cooperation with plant manufacturers

  • A high degree of teamwork and cooperation skills

  • Strong hands-on mentality as well as a confident appearance

  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
