Mechanical engineering position with a systems and project engineering approach in the design of semiconductor process equipment, automated wafer handling, electrostatic chucks, vacuum systems, cryogenics, heaters, and test/analysis equipment.
Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of complex engineering problems with limited to no supervision.
Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
Specify the development of, design, or modify engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of complex scope.
Interface with internal and external customers regarding wide range of complex engineering issues to address customers High Value Problems (HVP) for a range of products.
Implements concepts for range of complex product issues and solutions.
May be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle. Establishes standards across all operational processes.
Generate product specifications.
Define, coordinate, perform, and generate engineering test reports. Specify and review engineering documentation. Specify or perform engineering analysis of complex scope with limited to no supervision.
Functional Knowledge
Design intricate parts and assemblies of advanced engineering materials (metals, polymers, and ceramics) for a wide range of operating conditions including in vacuum and over a wide temperature range.
Design of atmospheric and vacuum test equipment using advanced sensors and controls for R&D including characterizing new product developments
Able to interpret data from analytical instruments and metrology such as SEM, TEM, EDX, SIMS, TXRF, Particle counter, digital microscope, etc. as part of investigating material behaviors
Capable of 3D modeling and interpreting analysis of heat transfer, stress, and resonance

$120,000.00 - $165,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
