Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Selection Process/ develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
  • Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
  • Performing quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action.
  • Performing the supplier technical audit process and evaluating supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.
  • Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing products. Applies knowledge of qualified sources and products for system improvements, increased prodict reliabiliity and mitigated risk.
  • Support product development and improvement teams for qualified suppliers and product reliability

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
