This role involves close collaboration with global engineering teams, including frequent interaction with the US headquarters. Strong English communication skills and an interest in display and semiconductor equipment software are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain equipment control software for Display CVD systems.
  • Implement and enhance system communication interfaces using EtherCAT, TCP/IP, Serial communication (RS‑232/485), and HSMS/SECS‑II protocols.
  • Integrate software modules with hardware, sensors, and process control components in collaboration with process, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot software issues on Linux and Windows-based platforms and support debugging on equipment or simulation environments.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code following internal standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation, design specs, and test procedures.
  • Work closely with global engineering partners, including regular technical communication with US-based teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming on Linux, and C++/C# programming on Windows.
  • Solid understanding of OS fundamentals, computer architecture, and basic real-time system concepts.
  • Demonstrated passion for problem solving and a strong interest in learning and tackling new programming challenges.
  • Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written) for collaboration with US headquarters.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge or project experience in display, semiconductor, or industrial equipment software.
  • Hands-on development experience with:
    • EtherCAT fieldbus communication
    • TCP/IP socket programming
    • Serial communication (RS-232/RS‑485)
    • HSMS/SECS‑II communication for equipment automation
  • Familiarity with multi-threaded programming, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) for collaborative software development.

Soft Skills

  • Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn complex systems.
  • Effective communication and documentation discipline.
  • Ability to work in global, multicultural engineering environments.
