The Applied Global Services (AGS), Component Engineering role is a fast‑paced, onsite role responsible for driving execution across multiple engineering disciplines. This position partners closely with engineers and cross‑functional teams to interpret technical information, run engineering programs, and enable quick, data‑driven decisions. The role is ideal for an early‑career engineer with strong communication skills, high energy, and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment. This is not a design role, but requires solid technical understanding and speed of execution

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Technical Program Manager for engineering projects and engineering change initiatives tied to revenue and operations.
  • Lead and run engineering meetings, track action items, and drive timely decision‑making across cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with engineers to interpret drawings and technical data, communicate requirements, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfer programs, including coordination between engineering, operations, and suppliers.
  • Compile, track, and analyze engineering and operational data to support decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with quality, surface technology, packaging, refurbishment, sustaining engineering, and obsolescence teams.
  • Supports AGS -OPS assigned sPDP projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • 2-4 years of experience; ideal for early career candidates
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with analytics, including creating trackers, dashboards, or data models to support engineering, operational, or program decisions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment that requires speed, prioritization, and quick decision‑making.
  • Analytical mindset with experience creating trackers, forms, or basic dashboards.
  • Onsite work required; occasional travel less than 5%

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
