Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager, IT Corporate Finance Technology to lead our India-based technology team supporting Corporate Finance functions, including SAP Record-to-Report (RTR), Tax, Treasury, and Workday Time & Pay. This role combines people leadership, solution architecture oversight, project delivery, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement to ensure technology solutions effectively support business objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in finance technology platforms, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale transformation initiatives within complex global environments.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead and develop the India Corporate Finance Technology organization.
- Recruit, retain, mentor, and develop high-performing employees and contingent workforce resources.
- Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ensure timely onboarding, utilization, and offboarding of contingent workers.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance culture.
Technology Strategy & Solution Delivery
- Provide leadership and governance for technology solutions supporting SAP RTR, Tax, Treasury, and Workday Time & Pay platforms.
- Validate solution architecture and ensure design integrity for complex, cross-functional business processes.
- Establish and enforce application architecture standards, development standards, and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation initiatives to improve business capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business leaders to develop technology roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
Program & Project Management
- Lead large-scale, complex business application programs and projects from initiation through deployment.
- Manage project managers, solution architects, consultants, and delivery teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
Application Support & Service Management
- Oversee delivery of application support services and operational excellence across Finance Technology platforms.
- Ensure compliance with service management, change management, incident management, testing, release management, and problem management processes.
- Drive continuous service improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
- Manage maintenance, licensing, subscription renewals, and vendor relationships.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls.
- Support SOX compliance activities, audit requirements, and control testing.
- Drive root cause analysis and resolution of critical production issues.
- Partner with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security and data privacy requirements.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage application and project budgets.
- Understand service cost models and key cost drivers.
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Monitor vendor performance and contract commitments.
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR, and IT leadership teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior executives.
- Align technology initiatives with business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate cross-functional decision-making.
- Influence outcomes through collaboration, negotiation, and executive-level communication.

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Experience
- 10 to 12 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with a focus on Finance systems and applications.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience leading technology teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale enterprise application programs and support organizations.
- Proven track record as a Solution Architect, Delivery Lead, or Technology Manager supporting Finance functions.
Technical Competencies
SAP Finance Expertise
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance
- SAP Fiori applications and user experience capabilities
- SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration and transformation programs
Workday Time & Pay
- Experience supporting Workday Time Tracking and Payroll solutions.
- Understanding of workforce management, payroll processes, controls, and integrations.
- Ability to collaborate across Finance and HR organizations.
Integration & Architecture
- Experience designing enterprise application architectures and integration strategies.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware platforms, and cloud integration technologies.
Financial Processes & Compliance
- Working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
