Job Description

Position Summary

The Associate will play a critical role in supporting the administration, analysis, and operations of real estate debt investment funds. This position involves assisting Portfolio Managers with fund-level forecasting, valuation analysis, and preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior leadership. The Associate will contribute to the development of high-quality deliverables, including investor and internal reports, dashboards, and presentation materials.

Primary Functions and Essential responsibilities

  • Support Portfolio Managers in the administration, analysis, and operations of real estate debt investment funds, ensuring precision and strategic insight behind decision-making.
  • Assist in fund-level forecasting and valuation analysis, preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality deliverables including investor and internal reports, dashboards, and presentation materials.
  • Help manage ongoing asset oversight including credit evaluation, re-underwriting and asset summary report preparation, documentation review, and support of business plan execution for debt investments.
  • Coordinate operational workflows and servicing activities in partnership with third-party vendors and internal teams.
  • Enhance and refine portfolio processes through data-driven insights and technology optimization to improve efficiency and reporting standards.
  • Engage with deal teams, legal partners, and external stakeholders as needed to support documentation analysis and execution.
  • Participate in internal committee processes and assist in tracking pipeline impacts, portfolio construction, and fund liquidity metrics.
  • Provide ongoing analytical support for capital market activities, including leverage strategy, valuation roll-ups, and NAV tracking.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate investment, underwriting, or investment banking.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in loan closing administration or asset management of commercial real estate assets.
  • High level of expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and ARGUS; experience with Power BI or a comparable platform is a plus.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including quantitative, modeling, and financial statement analysis skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create high-quality presentations for senior management and handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$165,000.00 - $175,000.00
