Job Summary
The Private Wealth Partnerships (“PWP”) team is responsible for the relationships with Ares Wealth Management Solutions’ largest partner firms, covering the home offices at Private Banks, Wirehouses, Independent Broker Dealers and Fintechs. We are looking for a Team Coordinator to act as a central liaison with our internal and external partners. The individual should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be interested in a dynamic role that will act as an essential member of the PWP team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates and organizes calls and meetings (both internal and external) for the Private Wealth Partnerships team. Certain meetings require complex scheduling across multiple groups within Ares and our partner-firms. Ensure meeting set up, including room and catering reservations, required AV and printed material delivery.
- Facilitate processes and procedures required for participation in both Ares-hosted and partner-firm hosted events, including but not limited to, tracking and payment of invoices, speaker approvals, material delivery and general event coordination.
- Learn and own the entry of invoices and contracts into Ares-specific systems (i.e., Coupa and Icertis).
- Ensure the continued maintenance and accuracy of tracking documents for events, meetings, and team action items.
- Become familiar with and fluent in SalesForce, the CRM used by the team, to assist with contact maintenance, meeting notes and other necessary reporting.
- Work closely with PWP Leadership and Strategy to develop and circulate weekly meeting agendas, ad hoc team offsites and events.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- General knowledge of alternative investments sufficient to communicate details to internal and external counterparts.
- Fundamental investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
Skill in:
- Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Teams, Excel
- Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets.
Ability to:
- Exhibit strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, as this position will serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Learn new technology and systems required for day-to-day responsibilities.
- Attend to detail while maintaining the big picture orientation.
- Meet many deadlines to provide quarterly and monthly data to internal associates and external counterparts.
- Work independently as well as in a team environment.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in related field and 2-4 years of experience at a broker/dealer or investment firm working in investment management operations with a focus on security valuation, portfolio accounting, or performance measurement.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$95,000 - $110,000
