Job Description

The Regional Security Manager (RSM) is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of physical security programs that protect Ada Digital Infrastructure assets. This role requires managing a geographically dispersed team of Site Security Managers/Supervisors, ensuring compliance with security policies, and maintaining audit readiness. The RSM reports to the Director of Global Security and collaborates with internal staff, clients, and vendors to deliver timely and accurate security services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of security systems and ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with security procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Support regulatory, industry, and contractual audits (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI, SOC2).
  • Manage and review security reports for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide detailed security management and status reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate issues promptly to management and recommend solutions.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain security processes, procedures, training, and improvement plans.
  • Continuously improve workflows for greater efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to resolve issues and deliver results.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies as needed.
  • Contribute to new initiatives and long-term security strategy.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential cyber threats specific to the region.
  • Maintain awareness of regional cyber threat trends and risks, including phishing, common attack vectors, and geopolitical factors.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of network architecture and access control, including appropriate network connections.
  • Apply endpoint security practices such as antivirus, patch management, and monitoring.
  • Participate in incident response procedures to help contain, eradicate, and recover impacted devices and services.
  • Assist with contingency planning, disaster recovery plan development, and regular testing.
  • Ensure general knowledge of regulatory compliance with local and regional laws, regulations, and standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, based on business needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field, or five years of experience in corporate security, military, or law enforcement.
  • At least five years of managerial experience in physical security operations and/or security technology systems (e.g., Lenel, Milestone).
  • Professional certifications (CPP, PSP, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with security audits is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Strong security management, customer service, and service delivery skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
  • Effective cross-cultural and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security technology systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage virtual teams.
  • Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) operations is required.
  • General knowledge of cyber security threats, trends, and best practices.
  • Basic understanding of network and endpoint security principles.
  • Familiarity with incident response and disaster recovery planning.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS).
