Job Description
Ares is currently searching for a highly motivated, detail-oriented team player to join as an Associate in the Investment Operations – Pipeline Management Team. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of deal pipeline management, CRM relationship management, and ad hoc reporting requests. Significant responsibilities include on-going relationships with Direct Lending, Alternative Credit, and Private Equity colleagues and regular communication with Legal, Compliance, Finance and Business Development.
The candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, and analytical skills and must be able to meet deadline requirements.
Requirements:
Information Management
- Support deal pipeline management tool across all of Ares’ business units
- Review and validate initial setup of companies, contacts, deals, securities, etc.
- Review, verify, and summarize investment data related to new investment opportunities and dynamically track the progress of each transaction
- Scrub deal documentation for key datapoints and ensure all systems are updated accurately
- Track elements of the deal closing process and ensure receipt of executed documents
- Review final deal closing checklists and validate all tasks were correctly executed
Data Stewardship and Governance
- Perform various data checks to ensure the accuracy of key data points
- Run metrics on key performance indicators
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports
- Maintain high quality, accurate data within DealCloud and uphold strong data governance practices across all entries and workflows
- Identify, document, and track issues
Project Management
- Take on any additional deal pipeline management related tasks and IT integration tasks
- Assist with project deliverables to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to requirements
- Obtain DealCloud Platform Manager Certification

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$100,000 - $115,000
