Job Description

Who You’ll Work With

Working closely with cross-functional teams including Hardware design, Signal Integrity, Mechanical design , and manufacturing, our engineers innovate on system architectures, high-speed PCB designs, and signal integrity to deliver state-of-the-art products that drive network performance and reliability.

What You'll Do

Our Hardware Design Engineering team is at the forefront of developing high-speed networking and Ethernet products used in Enterprise campuses, hyperscale datacenters and bleeding edge AI clusters. The team is responsible for the end-to-end design and development of advanced hardware solutions that meet the demands of modern networking environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • High-Speed Layout & Routing: Implement complex routing for advanced interfaces such as 112G/224G SerDes, PCIe Gen 5/6, DDR4/5/6
  • Impedance Control & Signal Integrity: Design stack-ups and calculate impedance profiles to minimize reflections, crosstalk, and signal loss.
  • Power Integrity (PI) Optimization: Design robust Power Distribution Networks (PDNs) with strategic decoupling capacitor placement to ensure stable power delivery to high-power ASICs and FPGAs.
  • Thermal & Mechanical Coordination: Integrate thermal vias, heat sink attachments, and high-conductivity materials while coordinating with mechanical teams on enclosure constraints.
  • Advanced Fabrication Deliverables: Generate manufacturing packages (Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581) including backdrilling instructions for ultra-high-speed signal paths.
  • Understanding of Library Management: Create and maintain high-density component footprints (e.g., large BGA fan-outs) according to industry standards
  • Work on new product feasibility with cross functional teams
  • Drive partners for PCB placement and routing work - creating work package with detailed instruction, checking delivery quality and ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in hardware engineering
  • Experience designing Networking Hardware, particularly involving 100G and 200G PAM4 Ethernet switching
  • Primary EDA Tools: level proficiency in Cadence Allegro/Sigrity
  • Experience designing 20+ layer count boards featuring 50G+ signals, and advanced PCB manufacturing technologies such as sequential lamination, HDI, and ultra-low-loss materials
  • Experience working with layout for multi-phase DC/DC’s for high current, high transient loads
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Mastery of DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Assembly), and DFT (Test) for multi-layer (30+ layers) rigid and rigid-flex board
  • Experience of successfully taking designs from concept to production
