As an Early Careers Recruiter at Arup, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce by attracting, engaging, and hiring exceptional early-career talent across our Asia Pacific Region and be actively involved in enhancing our university relations and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) programs. This position is future-focused, leveraging innovative sourcing strategies, technology, and inclusive practices to build a strong pipeline of graduates and interns, with a focus on our co-op program, who will help us deliver sustainable solutions for the built environment. This position is based in Hong Kong or Manila.
The Opportunity
- Strategic Talent Acquisition
Develop and execute recruitment strategies for graduate and intern programs aligned with Arup’s global and regional workforce plans.
Partner with hiring managers and discipline leaders to forecast demand and define role requirements
Screen resumes, coordinate and conduct interviews, and manage candidate pipelines and the selection process for entry-level and internship positions. - Future-Focused Sourcing
Build proactive talent pipelines through university partnerships, diversity conference attendance, social media engagement, and participation in campus events.
Utilize data-driven insights and emerging technologies to identify and attract diverse talent. - Candidate Experience
Deliver an exceptional candidate journey from application through onboarding, ensuring inclusivity and transparency.
Promote Arup’s purpose-driven culture and commitment to sustainability and equity in all candidate interactions. - Employer Branding
Organize and represent Arup at career fairs, diversity conferences, networking events, and virtual platforms to strengthen our brand among early-career professionals.
Secure and prepare discipline representatives to take part in such events.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling content that resonates with Gen Z and future talent. - Process Excellence
Manage full-cycle recruitment, including screening, interviewing, offer extensions, and intern conversions.
Partner with People Services on onboarding/offboarding of early career hires.
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and Arup’s global recruitment standards. - Data & Reporting
Utilize the firm’s candidate selection process workflow in our Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance
Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve processes and outcomes.
Contribute to annual planning and continuous improvement initiatives for early careers programs. - Program Management & EDI initiatives
Plan/execute and manage all aspects of intern programming.
Support EDI related recruiting, events, and initiatives.
Provide ad-hoc project support across People team as needed

Is this role right for you?
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- 2+ years in recruitment, preferably with campus or early-career programs.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and digital sourcing tools. Taleo experience a plus.
- Excellent skills in attracting and engaging with candidates
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Must have the ability to manage relationships and manage stakeholders of all levels: senior leadership, hiring managers, college administration/faculty, and students
- Ability to travel and work overtime during peak campus recruiting season
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- A familiarity with technical roles and college/university student trends
- Experience in a global or matrixed organization and/or the A/E/C industry
- Fluent in Cantonese
