The Opportunity

Drive innovation by playing a pivotal role in delivering major infrastructure projects by harnessing cutting-edge BIM and digital tools.

As a BIM Infrastructure Specialist for major projects at Arup, you will:

  • Understand and implement Arup’s BIM Strategy and ensure compliance with project BIM standards across all projects.

  • Work collaboratively with senior team members and contribute to process optimization and early conflict detection.

  • Produce and manage high-quality 3D models and drawings throughout all project stages, maintaining the CDE.

  • Provide coordination input and help organize or participate in coordination meetings to resolve interdisciplinary issues.

  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of work, in accordance with Arup and project standards.

  • Continuously develop on the job and with bespoke BIM and digital trainings.

  • Identify and support the implementation of automation and digital innovation.

Does this role inspire you?

We're looking for someone who is passionate about digital, BIM and megaprojects. We value candidates that:

Possess a recognized qualification in engineering, design, drafting, Building Information Modeling (BIM), or a related field.

1-5 years of industry experience (preferably civil or infrastructure projects) contributing to more complex projects and demonstrating competence in both technical drawing production and BIM modeling.

Competent skills and experience in the following applications: AutoCAD, Civil3D,Revit, or Navisworks (at least two)

Competent in using two or more of the listed applications (Tekla, Solibri, Clarity, ACC/BIM360, Rhino & Grasshopper, Trimble Connect, and BCFcollaboration), applying them effectively in relevant tasks and workflows.

Awareness of BIM standards, protocols, and coordination strategies incl. CDE

Strong communication skills

Good English (B2-C1)
