The Opportunity
Arup is looking for an AMCT‑qualified Treasury Projects Manager to lead a broad portfolio of treasury initiatives across our global business. This is a new role for an experienced treasury professional who brings strong technical knowledge, project delivery skills and a passion for best‑practice processes and governance.
You’ll play a key part in modernising our treasury operations — driving improvements, embedding stronger controls, and supporting the rollout of technology‑enabled ways of working. With both strategic and hands‑on elements, this role offers exposure to all areas of treasury, working within a small, collaborative team and closely with shared services, Finance, Tax, Company Secretariat and our global banking partners.
Reporting to the Head of Treasury, you’ll lead and support projects spanning bank account administration, mandate management, user access controls, banking platform optimisation, TMS change, and treasury policy development. You’ll also act as the treasury lead for acquisitions, external audit confirmations and improvements to our wider documentation, processes and structures. You will line‑manage a Treasury Analyst and help build capability across the team.
What you’ll lead:
Global bank account and mandate management projects.
Streamlining bank accounts, platforms and structures.
Enhancing pooling, sweeping and banking configuration.
User access governance and platform administration.
TMS enhancements and system‑change initiatives.
Treasury policy updates (FX, investment, new accounts).
Onboarding acquired entities and coordinating bank confirmations.
Process mapping, documentation and shared‑drive improvements.
Supporting innovation in payment processes and new technologies.
Is this role right for you?
We seek individuals with the following skills and expertise:
AMCT qualification with broad treasury experience (including front office).
Experience delivering systems or TMS projects.
Strong data integrity, reporting and Excel skills.
Proven project management capability.
Ability to map, critique and improve processes.
Comfortable working across workflows, documentation and multiple stakeholders.
Curious, organised, logical and strong communicator.
Nice to have
- Accounting qualification.
- Previous people‑management experience.
