Arup’s Façade practice is an enthusiastic, energetic, multi-disciplinary team of designers working with Building Envelopes focused on creating sustainable solutions and effective interventions. It includes engineers, technical specialists, building physicists and architects, all of whom share a passionate interest in building envelope design.

You will complement our facades team and help deliver engineering services for our clients. We would like to speak to people at early or intermediate stages of their career and have opportunities across a breadth of skills including but not limited to following skill areas:

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• An interest in façade engineering or façade design.

• Previous engineering experience in one or more of the above (or other relevant) disciplines.

• A desire to grow your career within the façade engineering specialism.

• Demonstrable strong written and verbal communications skills in English.

• A proactive and imaginative problem solving mindset.

• Spatial visualisation ability to interpret complex geometry.

• An ability to communicate technical concepts in clear, simple, and visually compelling outputs.

• Passion for delivering meaningful impact through design, with a strong focus on sustainability and long term environmental performance.
