Senior Electrical Engineer (Los Angeles, CA)

• Perform electrical systems design for building and rail projects, including power, lighting and lighting control systems;
• Work on medium to large-scale complex projects, including data centers, commercial, government, rail, higher-education, laboratories, healthcare, and infrastructure;
• Perform design activities, including power system calculations (short circuit, voltage drop, and arc flash) and calculations for lighting systems and associated controls (photometry for occupant tasks and for emergency egress routes) per code requirements;
• Prepare drawings, reports, and specification for detailing design;
• Collaborate and coordinate with multiple disciplines and project managers;
• Work with clients in meetings and present technical material for review by technical and non-technical audiences;
• Maintain quality standards, commercial metrics, and client relations for projects;
• Maintain client relationships to develop business opportunities; and,
• Handle commissioning activities for electrical and lighting systems, including preparation of documentation for LEED and other industry standards.
• Participate in local industry professional associations.
• Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience.
• Salary Range is $136,552 - $149,300 per year.
