The Opportunity

  • Ability to take full responsibility for the management and delivery of entire project lifecycle of major integrated electronic security systems designs, from development of requirements with clients, concept designs and masterplans, schematic design, detailed design, tender management, construction management and administration, in-life support and operational planning.

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and integration of advanced security systems, leveraging an expert understanding of technologies such as CCTV, access control, perimeter intrusion detection, security screening, and entrance controls, while ensuring seamless integration with supporting infrastructure including networking, electrical systems, interfacing, and computer systems, and maintaining awareness of cyber and information security principles.
  • Actively managing stakeholders such as interacting with clients, understanding their issues and developing innovative proposals that exceed their expectations.
  • Manage and monitor budgets and deadlines for assigned areas, ensuring financial performance targets are met, while accurately forecasting and planning future resource requirements.
  • Be fully aware of legislative requirements and other regulations governing Occupational Health and Safety and assist in ensuring these are adhered to within the office and on all projects.
  • This role would require the provision of guidance, training, motivation and direction to the team.


Is this role right for you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering (Mechanical and/or Electrical), or a related field.

  • Must have excellent technical communications skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and produce clear, professional and error-free documentation for bids, projects, research, training and advisory applications.
  • Able to travel to other geographical locations to assist colleagues/clients, if necessary.
  • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office applications is expected
  • Thorough understanding of the engineering project lifecycle from Concept, through Schematic and Detailed Design to Construction Administration and Support is essential.
  • Verifiable track record of project delivery in Aviation Security, Critical Infrastructures, Data Centres, Transportation, Healthcare, or similar is highly preferred.
