The Opportunity
We are looking for a Principal Project BIM Co-ordinator for major infrastructure project delivery, working with Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
ACC Setup, Configuration & Governance
· Configure and maintain Arup’s ACC environment during scheme and detailed design.
· Implement permissions, roles, approval workflows, file/folders, and metadata consistent with BEP, Appendix A–J, and client requirements.
· Establish ISO 19650‑compliant workflows in ACC suitable for multi‑party delivery
Model Coordination & Design Collaboration
· Support the discipline BIM leads with federated model creation, model co‑ordination spaces, clash resolution workflows and design review processes.
· Maintain ACC‑based collaboration as design progresses, ensuring stability through ongoing ACC updates.
· Develop and operate the transfer mechanism for BIM models/drawings from ACC into ProjectWise.
Support to Discipline Leads & Project BIM Manager
· Provide frontline ACC training and troubleshooting for MEICA, Civils, Structures, Geotechnical and GIS teams
· Co-ordinate with BIM Manager to ensure deliverables meet project requirements
Maintenance, Monitoring & Change Control
· Manage the administration of users, roles and permissions for both Arup and external parties.
· Onboarding of new users to ACC.
· Monitoring and implementation of updates that may affect federations, permissions or integrators.
· Lead change impact assessments related to naming conventions, site codes, discipline structures as required.
Skills & Experience
· Deep working knowledge of ACC Docs, Model Coordination, Issues, Workflows and Bridge.
· Familiarity with major project CDE integrations (specifically ACC ↔ ProjectWise).
· Experience tailoring ACC environments for linear infrastructure, multi‑party, multi‑system projects.
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.
· Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with project team members with varying levels of BIM knowledge.
· Strong understanding of ISO 19650 information flows in multi‑party delivery.
· Training and mentorship of less experienced project team members.
· Deep knowledge of at least one Autodesk BIM software such as Revit, Civil3D or Plant3D.
