Analyze data related to project design for civil engineering projects, and other factors relevant to civil engineering projects, and prepare cost estimates for labor to determine a civil engineering project’s economic feasibility;
Update engineering project and job forecasts to ensure current and accurate reporting of performance;
Monitor possible job costs of engineering projects and evaluate commercial terms and risks;
Assist with monitoring engineering project scope or schedule changes, maintain change and risk registers, and prepare fee proposals and contract change orders;
Lead the preparation of resource, invoicing, and cash flow forecasts;
Assist in the preparation and submission of documents in accordance with bid guideline procedures for bid reviews;
Monitor engineering project resource costs against budgets;
Review all material financial and commercial issues on civil engineering projects;
Utilize financial systems to assist the Project Manager in reviewing and monitoring civil engineering project financial results and other performance parameters and preparing financial reports and providing financial data to respond to queries on performance issues;
Ensure the timely collection, assessment, and review of timesheets of the project team and report;
Prepare, issue, and monitor the payment of monthly client invoices;
Assist with the management of subcontractors including tracking costs, reviewing invoices, and monitoring payments;
Advise of potential engineering problems that could detrimentally affect the outcome of engineering projects;
Follow internal financial and commercial policies and procedures; and
Use P6 to build and manage civil engineering project schedules.
Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience.
Salary Range is $155,667.00 to $183,800.00 per year.
