As a Roof Technical Lead, you will be a project manager leading a team of engineers and technicians to successfully deliver complex building structures projects, with full accountability for quality, programme, and commercial outcomes. If you are a Singapore-registered Professional Engineer, you will act as the Qualified Person (QP), reviewing and endorsing structural submissions in accordance with local regulations. You will drive technical excellence, client relationships, and business growth while ensuring projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and to the highest professional standards.
The Opportunity
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams in the design and delivery of large-scale, complex building structures projects, including major airport terminal roof developments and complex steelwork systems.
• Act as Qualified Person (where applicable), reviewing engineering designs and endorsing Structural Plan submissions in compliance with Singapore Codes and Practices.
• Take full responsibility for project management, including preparing and implementing project plans, managing budgets and commercial performance, and reporting to the Project Director and Geography Leader.
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships, support business development initiatives, and identify opportunities to expand services across the Building Structures Business Unit and wider geography.
• Ensure high standards of design quality, regulatory compliance (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001), health & safety adherence, and timely delivery of all project outputs.

Is this role right for you?
• An advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and at least 12 years’ structural engineering experience within a consulting environment; Singapore Registered Professional Engineer (PEB) status preferred.
• Proven expertise in delivering large-scale airport projects and complex steel structures, with experience across low- and high-rise buildings, PPVC, prestressed and timber structures.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing multidisciplinary teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence and innovation.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, including managing fees and budgets, understanding contract conditions, and delivering cost-effective, sustainable solutions.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and build lasting client relationships.
