Senior Security Engineer (San Francisco, CA)

• Perform structural blast engineering calculations for building and tunnel structures.

• Design structural connections for blast loading.

• Develop hostile vehicle mitigation schemes for public and private clients.

• Perform vehicle impact calculations.

• Manage small blast engineering tasks.

• Develop presentations of highly technical blast engineering results to share with non-technical audiences.

• Initiate and lead blast engineering research projects.

• Conduct drawing and specification reviews to support design teams with the integration of protective design measures.

• Conduct protective design product research and vetting to advise clients and design teams.

• Prepare drawings, sketches, and specifications to communicate design intent and performance requirements of protective design measures.

• Perform construction administration, inclusive of contractor submittal reviews, and respond to RFI’s.

• Collaborate with a multi-discipline design team to develop innovative solutions to address security threats and risks.

• Perform threat and vulnerability assessments for security conscious clients.

• Contribute to internal technical research initiatives to improve existing methods and processes.

• Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience.

• Salary range: $134,763.00 - $144,600.00 /year
