Senior Electrical Engineer (New York, NY)
Design and deliver electrical systems for data centers and commercial building projects, including power systems, lighting, and fire alarms.
Perform electrical load calculations and circuiting of equipment.
Perform electrical load capacity, fault, and system analysis for power systems in the build environment.
Perform photometric calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
Perform grounding and lighting protection analysis.
Perform engineering analysis and calculations.
Produce design drawings.
Author technical specifications, design reports, site reports, and due diligence reports.
Handle electrical engineering tasks on commercial property, aviation, healthcare, science and industry, datacenters, pharmaceuticals, and energy projects.
Support construction administration by handling design and implementation, reviewing submittals, and reviewing contractor documentation, including test reports, commissioning schedules, shop drawings, and product data.
Answer requests for information.
Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Work within a team structure, coordinate with multiple teams, and work with lead engineers and project managers to deliver quality work within commercial metrics.
Engage with clients.
Handle project fee, expenditure, and invoicing.
Forecast project spend and resources.
Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
Salary Range is $122,500 to $148,450 per year.
