The Architectural Designer will provide design and technical support to the group, and documentation for a wide variety of infrastructure, science and industry, sports and leisure, asset enhancement and other architecture and planning projects
The Opportunity
- Prepare the development of conceptual and detailed architectural and Urban designs across planning and architecture projects, from early stages through to construction documentation.
- Produce high-quality drawings, space planning diagrams, reports, and urban design materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strong visual communication.
- Support team leaders in preparing project documentation and presentations, maintaining quality standards and timely delivery.
- Manage defined workstreams, including coordinating junior staff and reviewing work to ensure accuracy, deadlines, and overall project quality are met.
- Work independently within an assigned scope, contributing to external meetings, drafting key documentation, and supporting team development through guidance and feedback.
- Other relevant duties as required
Is this role right for you?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Urban Design, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions or progress toward professional accreditation is desirable.
- At least with 3-5 years’ experience at leading design practices with a strong career focus on design and project delivery
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Capability in Rhino, AutoCAD, or SketchUp. - Familiarity or exposure to planning and development contexts within Southeast Asia considered advantageous.
- Proficient in BIM and Autodesk Revit
- Proficient in Sketch-up, Rhino or other 3D software is an advantage
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and Illustrator
- Good use of Microsoft office tools
